I swore that I would never neglect you, and I feel like I have. I have been struggling with my eyes lately and being on the computer so I have neglected writing in here. I finally made an appointment to get glasses, I hope that helps.
You are so cute and so fun. Your dad thinks that I spoil you but since the day that you were born, I don't know what it was, but we have had a special bond. Not that I don't love your siblings but I just had this connection with you right away. You are such a good baby. You love to be held and when you are awake and not being held you get really upset.
You have big brownish blue eyes, a butt chin, and the cutest chubby cheeks. You have dark skin still and long eyelashes. You like to stand up and when you do your feet tuck in .
You don't sleep through the night. Twice now you have slept 8 hours straight which was nice, but most of the time you sleep about 3 hours maybe 4. You sleep better if you sleep in my arms. I know that's bad, and neither Taylee or Colton did that but I need my sleep so bad that I let you.
At you 2 month check up you weighed 12 lbs 11 oz 69%, height was 23 1/2 79% and your head was 38.5. I asked the doctor about your circumcision because it looked like it had grown back in a few places. He looked at them and they had so he just torn them. I was so upset seeing you cry that I almost pushed the doctor away and grabbed you. You bleed so bad that he had to cauterize you. Then right after you had your shots. It was a bad day and I felt really bad for you. We did just like the other kids and slept the rest of the day though.
You started to laugh and coo, mostly at mommy, I don't know why. When we start talking to you your eyes get really big and you smile.
You were blessed on the 1st of July 2012 by your father. That day was a special day because it was also dad and I's 6 year anniversary. We had 1:00 church and you had a lot of family there. Your uncle Drake was married the day before so there was a lot of people still here from that. On mom's side Grandpa Peterson came with uncle Nick, Chan, Ryan and aunt Corina and Missy. Cousin Thomas was there too. They came on Thursday and stayed until Monday. We took them up too Heise to see where we went camping and just hung out with them. Moms cousin Shaun Belliston and Cameron Boehning came to the blessing too. The people that stood in the blessing were, Grandpa Munns, Kent Mickelsen, Spencer Riley, Chan Manning, Ryan Peterson, Shaun Belliston, Cameron Boehning, Zach Munns, Dallin Draney, and bishop Huntsman. Corina and I tried to write down your blessing and only got parts of it. Grandma Munns made your pants that you wore aunt Clarissa made your cute little tie and you wore a white shirt.
Your very first trip was to Washington for you great grandmother Belliston's 90th birthday. You traveled so well only waking up to eat then falling right back asleep. You traveled better than your siblings. We left on Thursday the 7th of June and stayed until the 10th. We had family pictures while we were there and got to see lots of family.
Your second outing was camping at Heise. We went on the 15th of June. It was your first time at a pool, we went to the Heise hot springs. Lets just say you hate cold water, you cried if someone touched you that was wet.
You are just so much fun and I am enjoying every second with you, stop growing up!

Two week check up
We took you to your two week check up on the 10th of May, which was weird to me because your due date wasn't until the 13th. The whole family went and made a day of it. The doctor checked you and said you were growing really good. You were 8 lbs and 20 3/4 in long. We had your circumcision done that day too, I decided not to go into the room when they did it, but your dad did.
We also talked to the doctor about your reflux. You started to show signs of it around a week old. It doesn't seem as bad as your siblings but I also have been off dairy since the day that you were born. He started you on Zantac and so far it seems to be working ok, you still grunt and you can hear it come up your throat.
The rest of your umbilical cord came off the day after you turned two weeks.
You are a pretty good baby, you love love to be held. You can stare and stare at the world around you and it seems like you know exactly what people are saying. You don't cry much and if you do the second you are picked up you stop. We are having trouble with you at night though. You have your nights and days confused. You sleep all day and at night are awake ALL The time. We need to get this figured out so I can get some sleep, I am exhusted.
I took you to the chiropractor today, I thought it might help with your reflux, we will see!
You also had your first shower with dad today. All of the kids loved the shower and you were no exception. You didn't cry just loved it. You were actually really content after too, and didn't make a sound for about an hour after, just sat there and stared. It was almost like it was therapeutic for you.
We just love having you in our home, you are so sweet and are growing up too fast. You love to eat and like I said be snuggled. You older brother just loves you and loves to snuggle and hold you. Any time you cry he comes up to you and says "it's ok buddy." I just hope you too become best friends.

First doctors appointment
We took you to your first dr appointment yesterday. They wanted to weigh you because you had lost 7% of your birth weight. When we left the hospital you weighed 7lbs 1oz. When we took you to your appointment you weighed the same. They said that was ok because you were eating ok and having enough wet diapers. No jaundice which is AWESOME, and you are doing just great.
You are an angel baby so far, you sleep all the time, and eat great. You make the cutest faces, and have the tiniest cry. You sleep pretty good at night, and love to snuggle. You are so good natured and don't seem to show any signs of reflux yet, we are crossing our fingers. You RARELY cry and when you are hungry you might just cry for a second but then stop and just look around waiting patiently.
I gave you your first bath on Sunday while everyone was at church. You hated it!!!!! Then on Tuesday your siblings helped me give you another bath. You hated it again, but when I stuck your bum in the water you stopped crying instantly and loved it!

Your Here
You are here and everything went so well. Last Thursday I went to my routine 36 week appointment, only you were 36 weeks and 4 days. When we got there we asked for the doctor to check me to see if I was dilating. Of course as I thought I was at a 3 and about 50% efface. I made an appointment for a week from the next Monday only because I really wanted to see Dr. Baker and he was suppose to be out of town the whole next week. The receptionist said that he might be doing surgeries on Thursday morning and to call and find out if I was to see another Dr and was dilated more weather Dr. Baker would still deliver me. I called and they said he would if I was dilated. On Sunday after church I started to have Braxton hicks consisted, and since I knew I was already dilating, after about 4 hours of it we came to the hospital. They checked me and I was at a 5 but did not progress, so they sent me home. I was glad because I was trying to make it till Thursday. That whole week I laid in bed not having much contractions, if I did they always went away. On Wednesday though around 1 I started to have contractions not painful but they were every 2-4 minutes. Around 7 they started to become painful so we went to the hospital. I was so upset because all I had to do was wait until the next day to see my doctor. At the hospital I was still and 5 but started to have stronger contractions. They kept me there for 5 hours and then sent me home because I hadn't progressed. The next morning, I got up cleaned the house and did laundry. I was getting everything ready in case I had you. I was able to talk to a very nice receptionist who was able to triple book Dr. Baker so I could see him. My appointment was at 2:30 p.m. I sent the kids to Grandma Munns and went to my appointment. Dad didn't come with me this time because he was sick of coming to IF only to be sent home. When I got into see the Dr he laughed and told me I was 7 to 8 centimeters dilated. We wanted to go check my strep B results and come back and talk to me. He said that he would be comfortable delivering me even though you were only 37 weeks and 4 days along, not considered full term. He told me to go up to the hospital and he would come up in an hour and brake my water. I called Dad and over 2 hours later he showed up. In the mean time I got hooked up, giving an IV and started on my epidural. We had a scare when they did my Epidural. They didn't get a full bag of water through me and I started to get light headed and dizzy. Then the Anesthesiologist said that I was looking pale. I felt sick to my stomach and like I couldn't get my breath. I started to sweat and just really felt like something was really wrong. The anesthesiologist gave me something in my IV and I stared to feel better, but made you heartbeat go up to over 200. They said it was from the epinephrine they put in my IV and as long as you were moving, (which you were, ALOT you were fine). I found out later how serious the situation was but the nurse and anesthesiologist really remained calm. My blood pressure dropped to 50 over 30 and my heart rate went up to 136. Everything was turned out fine except I felt lightheaded the rest of the time.
Then around 5:20 the Dr came up and broke my water, about 10 minutes after Dad got there. I was still dilated to a 8 at that time. Then around 6:15 he came back in and said I was almost there, that we would start pushing in about 20 mins. When he came in again he said he could feel your head. I pushed through 3 contractions and you were here. You were so little looking to me and so cute. They let me hold you for a long time, you cried but where so cute. You kind of looked like Colton to me at that time, but later I thought you had your own little look. The weighed you and to my surprise you were 7 lbs 10 oz. Bryce took a picture of you on the scale and it said that you weighed 7 lbs 8 oz but the nurse insisted you were 7 lbs 10 oz. You were 20 inches long and born at 6:43 p.m. Only 4 hours after I walked into my Dr appointment. I was so glad you were here, healthy and that Dr Baker was able to deliver you.
You are such a good baby so far, please stay that way. You brother and sister just love you and want to be around you all the time. They saw you that first night and then came the next day and spent the afternoon with you. We think that you name is going to be Cater Vernon Munns. All you do is sleep and eat and poop. When you are hungry you dont even really cry just smack your lips. At least here in the hospital you did. The first night you didn't really cry just whined all night, and then when I would hold you you were fine, but I couldn't sleep for worry I would drop you. You love to snuggle and are love to just look around. I am so in love with you and hope you stay sweet. We are so glad you are here and mommy doesn't want you to grow up.

Almost done
About three days before my last appointment I started to get more and more Braxton Hicks, I was thinking that that meant that I was starting to dilate and I was right.
Post from main blog on April 20th 2012
on another note we went to the doctor yesterday. I had him check me because I go really fast and dilate really fast. With both of my kids when I was checked at 37 weeks and was dilated to a 3. I was 36 and 4 days yesterday and was dilated to a 3, SURPRISE! I was 50% efface and was told to make a appointment for next Thursday. With my other two the next time I went in I was dilated to a 7 so I half expect it this time. When I went to the front desk to make my appointment I was told that my doctor would be out of the office next week. I said, "the doctor didn't tell me that," and she said, "he doesn't even know his own schedule." So I made my appointment for Monday the 30th, I really hope I can make it, I don't want anyone else in his office to deliver me! Since that appointment yesterday I have had a lot of braxton hicks, AWWWWWWW, so I will be really laying low this next week!
I have been having a lot of back cramps and braxton hicks since then, and am not sure I will make it to my appointment. It doesn't matter to you that there is no more room in my belly. You kick and kick and kick harder. You stretch and love to push on my hips and ribs. I told the kids the first thing that I am going to do when you come out is spank you bum for kicking me so hard! I am getting really nervous, I don't know why this one is making me more nervous but you are. I hope all goes well and we can see you in a week.

Kinda boring
This pregnancy has really gone by fast at times and for the most part without a hitch. Besides the really bad groin and back pain at night, everything else is good. It has allowed me to get a lot done. The Braxton hicks have been nothing compared to last time. I feel like I am carring you a lot different than Taylee. You are very low and forward. You are quite the mover and the only child that I can remember that wakes me up in the middle of the night and wont stop moving. You wake me up at around 3:00 and 5:00 am, I hope that isn't preparing me for your rutine when you are born. I am really enjoying sleeping in the morning and know that it will change here really soon.
I have been able to get a lot done lately. I have made you three blankets and have one more to make. I also made a nursing cover and car seat cover. Then I sewed on some ties to your white shirts they are so cute.
I am pretty sure that I felt you turn about 4 weeks ago, it or course woke me up in the middle of the night. You like to kick up high in my ribs, and when you move you don't stop for a really long time, probably the longest our of all my kids. I don't think that you care that you are running out of room, you stretch anyway.
I have gained so far 26 lbs and feel huge. I have a doctors appointment in two weeks and I am going to have him check me to see if I am dilated. I can't believe that it is almost time to see you. only 5 more weeks or less.
As for a name your dad is starting to like Carter, but we are not for sure, no middle name yet!
